很多同學看到句意解析的題型常常會心生疑懼，其實句意解析的題目，最重要的就是找出題目的主旨，然後挑選答案選項當中跟題目主旨較為接近的就是正解了！英銘老師幫我們列了幾個步驟，只要好好參照，就可以輕鬆的掌握句意解析的內容取得分數。

(  ) The new finding that breast milk might help prevent nearsightedness should prompt mothers to think twice before feeding their babies formula.

(A) Mothers must think at least for two times before they purchase the powdered milk for their babies to avoid the unwanted consequence of nearsightedness.

(B) Because breast milk can prevent nearsightedness, more and more mothers are finding out how to program the formula to fit their babies.

(C) Since breast milk might help prevent nearsightedness, mothers will be encouraged to feed their babies with breast milk.

(D) Breast milk is found to prevent nearsightedness so that mothers should try to train their babies to get used to the formula.

Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構，“The new finding should prompt mothers to think twice.” (新的發現將促使母親們要三思而後行)。

補充：

prompt  adj. 敏捷的    adv. 準時地    v. 激勵、引起、提詞    n. 提示  (always)

Alfred’s prompt actions prevented the fire from spreading.

Alfred敏捷的行動阻止了火勢的蔓延。

We’ll start at 8 o'clock prompt.

我們將在八點鐘準時出發。

Science and technology has prompted the rapid development of modern society.

科技推動了現代社會的迅速發展。

Ann’s evasive reply prompted me to ask her another question.

Ann閃爍其詞的回答引起我提出另一個問題。

Will you prompt for Brittany at the next performance?

下場演出時你給Brittany提詞好嗎？

Caroline was rather hesitant and had to be given a frequent prompt by the chairman.
