很多同學看到句意解析的題型常常會心生疑懼，其實句意解析的題目，最重要的就是找出題目的主旨，然後挑選答案選項當中跟題目主旨較為接近的就是正解了！英銘老師幫我們列了幾個步驟，只要好好參照，就可以輕鬆的掌握句意解析的內容取得分數。

(  ) There is a great variation in individual taste for novelty and thrill seeking, much of it rooted in the brain.

(A) Individual differences for seeking adventurous experiences are determined by the variation of individual taste.

(B) The root of the thrill-seeking experiences much lies in the differences of individual taste.

(C) Those who are drawn to thrills tend to have a better taste for a variety of current trends.

(D) Differences for the need of adventurous experiences are mostly hard-wired in the brains of individuals.

Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構：“There is a great variation in individual taste” (每個人的品味大大不同)。

補充：

variation  n.  變化、差異、變奏曲、變種     (often)

The price of watermelons has not shown much variation this year.

今年西瓜的價格沒顯出多大變化。

This is a set of variations on a theme by Beethoven.

這是以貝多芬某一樂曲為主題的一組變奏曲。
